White found shots to their liking again this week and jumped all over Silver in the first half, 31-16. They received scoring from everyone in their lineup while most of Silver's players struggled. Silver just hasn't been able to get the calls against their opponents for the second week in a row. White was called for five fouls in the first half but only one in the second session. That eliminated any chance for them to come back. There's no sugar coating it, Silver just wasn't up to the task as White cruised to a 66-40 blowout. They may tell their injured manager to take his time coming back. Will White become complacement next week when they meet up with winless Green?

Red looked to stay undefeated while Orange was trolling for their first win. Orange had the benefit of Red having a sub for its big gun. After a slow start Orange couldn't Reese-ist the opportunity to take advantage. They started to gel a bit as a team which led to some easy buckets and lifting them to a 26-20 halftime advantage. The game was never out of reach for Red but in the end they gave up too many transition buckets. Like a KitKat, Red wasn't solid enough and went down to defeat, 51-41.

Green and Blue locked up in a very competitive first half. Green came out hot and jumped to an 11-3 lead as several players hit their shots. Each team hit only one 3-pointer as their defenses dominated. Blue gradually started scoring themselves and were able to catch up. Green got their licks in but Blue used a crunching defense and held the edge at the break, 26-24. The fouls were even and no one was played for a sucker. The second half was a different story. After an inspiring speech by the manager and a lot of help from their only sub Blue began to pull away. Green hit another 3-pointer in the second half but needed quite a few more. They started turning the ball over and Blue was scoring on fast breaks. Green just didn't have the firepower to stick with them. Blue closed them out by 18 points, 59-41.

Purple wasn't good and they made plenty of mistakes. They did make it easy for Gold in the beginning of the game by throwing up nothing but bricks. Gold wasn't outstanding but did manage to pull the wrappers off and held a 20-12 margin at the break. Purple used 10 second half fouls and a couple of 3-pointers in an attempt to climb back into the game. Gold dropped the ball a few times (they had butterfingers) giving Purple some hope. In the end Purple couldn't get by Gold's sticky defense and fell 49-42. Gold now looks ahead to meeting Red next week to see who can hold on to second place.
